Permanent Jewelry is one of the hottest new
trends. Our jewelers can custom fit and weld
one of our dainty solid gold chains on to you. It is painless, easy, cute, and fun! They're great for friendships, mother/daughters, sisters,
bachelorette parties, commitments, life events,
or just because you LOVE them!
Please reach us at 1clintonjewelers@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
It is jewelry that is custom fit and welded (using a pulse arc welder) onto your wrist, neck, or ankle. There is no clasp, and it will be permanently on your body until you cut it off.
Because you will be wearing this jewelry 24/7, we will only use 14K gold chain that we sell. Gold plated, gold filled, and sterling silver will not stand up to constant wear and exposure to everyday chemicals as well as gold.
Our store has a service department with professionally trained jewelers. We have a state-of-the-art Orion pulse arc welder that was purchased in 2021.
Bracelets are the most common, but we will also weld short necklaces and anklets. Bear in mind that anklets and necklaces are more likely to get snagged and stretch or break. Wear at your own risk.
We sell the chain for permanent by the inch, so prices vary with the weight and length of the chain. There is no fee for the original weld. Chain prices start at $23 per inch plus sales tax.
No, not at all! It is a quick process, and we take special safety precautions to protect you.
You can cut the chain off with cutters or scissors, and we can weld it back on. We ask that you cut it at the welded link. There is a $10 reweld fee for permanent jewelry sold at our store.
We have two bench jewelers, so no appointment is needed. However, we would appreciate notification for groups larger than 3.
If the chain breaks at the weld, we will reweld for free. If it breaks in any other spot, we will assess for repair. We are not responsible for lost chains.
Yes, you can wear your 14K permanent jewelry through airport security. You would most likely need to remove it for a medical MRI scan.
With parental consent, we will weld anyone over the age of 10 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Anyone with a gold allergy or a pacemaker should not get welded permanent jewelry.
